Blue Valley Lutheran Homes is committed to care, quality, and community.   Our Care Home facility is located at 755 South 3rd Street in Hebron. The Care Home staff specializes in helping individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and dementia live full and active lives. The Care Home offers security and safety while affording your loved one the freedom to socialize, participate in activities, worship services, enjoy the outdoor garden and courtyard, as well as take trips off campus. Persons with Alzheimer's disease can now find the specialized, compassionate care they need with the new 14 bed Memory Support Unit - The Gardens.

Our local physicians are comfortable working with are clients and are acutely aware of the challenges that go along with caring for those individuals that have developmental disabilities. A provider makes rounds at our facility once per week and we have daily contact via phone for any concerns that arise between visits. Blue Valley Care Home is located two blocks from the Thayer County Health Services (TCHS) clinic and hospital. TCHS Labs comes to our facility for weekly lab draws and we have a registered dietician on staff who reviews cases each week.  

The Care Home is Medicaid certified and offers long and short term care.

Many of our staff and clients have been here for more than 10 years, and several longer than 20 years. It is quite easy to see the bond that forms between residents and staff members.
