How to Give to Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Foundation 

There are a number of ways that you can provide gifts to Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Foundation. You can choose the most appropriate method that works for your circumstances and interests. Your gift can be an immediate one or a planned gift.

 

Cash Gifts 

Many of the gifts that Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Foundation receives are cash gifts. We accept checks that are payable to Blue Valley Lutheran Homes Foundation. You may be  specific what you would like to your gift go to. Undesignated gifts allow us to use the gift wherever it is needed the most at the current time.

 

Memorial Gifts 

Memorial gifts are a way for you to honor your loved one or friend and keep them close to your heart. This also means that you support the quality of care that Blue Valley Lutheran Homes provides.

 

Honorary Gifts 

Acts of kindness exist throughout our facility and often residents and their families want to recognize the caring and compassionate staff member, physician or volunteer that has made a difference in their loved one's life. A gift to the Foundation, designated for use by the donor is an appropriate way to recognize an individual for the quality of care they provided. Each individual will receive acknowledgement of the gift as well as their superior quality of care.

 

Gift Annuity 

You can give a gift in the form of an Gift Annuity.  A Charitable Gift Annuity is considered part gift/part annuity so you will receive an income stream for the rest of your life, will receive a portion of your return tax free and may be eligible for a charitable deduction.  Depending on your age, the return you receive is typically much higher than what you receive through savings, money market or certificate of deposit investments.
